VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE

Would it be too much to ask manufacturers not to build radio/cd players into their vehicles.

I always thought music was for pleasure & relaxation, not for deafening other people.

I live next to traffic lights, within a hundred feet or so, loud music from vehicles is not just deafening but inconsiderate & totally bad manners.

There are MP3 players with personal headphones etc, if people want to listen to music whilst driving.

If the manufacturers still want to put radios in vehicles would it not make sense to have a lower maximum volume introduced, thereby stopping what I would call a 'public nuisance'.

WHEN DO WE SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

I walk through the town centre only occassionally & what strikes me most are the young couples, mostly teenagers, boys & girls pushing babies & often with another child in tow. I wonder what they have been taught by the powers that be, if anything. These youngsters are, more than likely, claiming State Benefits, money they have no right to claim, whilst the people that earned every penny, i.e pensioners & the disabled are often struggling to make ends meet. Who is to blame? The parents, yes, because they don't teach their children any moral & social conduct, the schools, yes, because they only care for the 'schools name' & how much funding they can con out of the government & yes, the government for letting them all get away with it.

Vandalism, just the word conjures up visions of youngsters, they start young too, my neighbours & I opposed a cycle track to be constructed behind our houses, we were ignored & have now put up with it for over a year, I have graffitti on my fence, my windows have been broken twice, my neighbours have had their windows broken, bricks & stones are thrown at my skylights, rubbish is thrown in my garden, my plants & pots have been stolen, I am woken up frequently with shouting & rows & motor bikes behind my house. What has been done about it, the police, useless, the council, deaf, so what now?

In my opinion, no child should be allowed to be a nuisance to others, no child should be allowed on the streets between 5pm & 8am, unless under responsible adult supervision. Parents should be fined if their children are unsupervised. How can children learn responsibility if their parents show no responsibility. Schools should not allow children off the premises during school hours. The government should change the Drinking Laws, 21 should be the age for youngsters to be allowed in any pub or licensed club & pubs & clubs should close at 10.30pm.

Why should the law abiding & the innocent suffer for the greed & selfishness of others, I find it sickening to see what this country is becoming because the old values are gone & nothing good has replaced them. When do we say 'enough is enough'
